Strategy

Dotcom, an e-commerce fulfilment and logistics provider for growing retailers, wanted to generate significantly more web traffic and a steady stream of leads for the sales team. To increase traffic and fill Dotcom’s pipeline, we proposed a content-driven digital strategy that integrated earned, owned and paid media to connect with Dotcom’s prospects at every point in their buyer journeys.

Execution

Key elements of the strategy included:

  • Content Creation
Content strategists created a portfolio of content pillars – an annual research report, an e-book, white papers, a series of tip sheets – and other content that spoke to the needs of prospects at each stage of the buyer journey. Long-form content assets were used to fuel a multitude of smaller content pieces like SEO pages and social media posts.
  • Email
An email nurture campaign amplified key messages and drove decision-makers to relevant Dotcom content. Landing pages for long-form content captured contact information as leads for the sales team.
  • Search Engine Optimization (SEO)
Digital content experts crafted search-engine-optimized content to increase organic search traffic for specific keywords and content marketing assets.
  • Search Advertising
Paid search campaigns generated additional traffic for targeted keywords along the buyer journey. PPC campaigns also boosted traffic to specific pieces of content
  • Social Media Marketing
An engaging social campaign promoted thought leadership and industry insights to prospects and influencers across LinkedIn, Twitter and Facebook.
